Unhappy Burning up!

The air conditioner just died. Got it with 18k, now at 20k, and today when I turned on the A/C I get nothing. GRRR!!

The fan and heat work fine, the compressor kicks in, just no cold air coming out of it.

Called Suzuki, they say it should be covered under warranty, but they'll have to check it out first to make sure its not been "tampered with".

So I'm not happy right now. Hopefully its just a leaking hose somewhere and not in need of a whole new compressor....but if it is at least it happened before 35k....

I'll update later.

Ok they have determined that its leaking around the compressor clutch. At least another week before I get the car back! Said the part was a little harder to get a hold of than the typical. After that, about a 3 hour job. I don't care just as long as I get it back in working order. ^__^

I have 15k left on my warranty to test this new part out. I'll update later. I wonder if this part will come to fail on other 07 SX4's or if I just got the unlucky one?

Thanks for the info, lots of info there. ^___^

Though i didn't find this issue in the current list, maybe its not too common.
