Unhappy SX4 a hurtin'

I have been out at sea on an aircraft carrier all week, and got the call today that last Monday the wife got smacked in the back end and it shoved her 2007 SX4 into a curb. Nothing she could do, it was on ice, and the a** Monkey behind her had slammed on his binders and plowed into her.

Well, so far the bill is at 5200 bucks, it bent the suspension on the passengers side, bent the rim and dented my savings........

At least she's OK, but Damn..... Why does this stuff always happen when your away from home?

Sorry to hear that, but you mentioned it's denting your wallet? Isn't the other guy's auto-insurance helping your family out?

Thumbs up

Glad to hear your wife is ok. Did any of the airbags deploy?

5200 bucks, that's major alright. That's a little less than half what I paid for mine.

Yup, things always go bad at the worst possible times. Hang in there man!

5200 goes quick as I rear ended someone in my Esteem and got my first ticket and accident ever (age 32) and it was over 5G and they had not opened the hood yet!!!

Just to let you all know, I traded in my SX4 today for a new Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 Diesel. I got a major pay raise, so gave it to the wife.

Hope you all enjoy your SX4, and see adios.......
