Default HID kit OR LED kit?

What are your guys experience with HID or LED's? I know the DRL is an issue but I'm ok with leaving it on if I can get a bulb that will last long enough. Any advice greatly appreciated!!

First - either kit will put you on the wrong side of the law.

Second - neither kit can provide the correct beam pattern, one will end up with light where it should not be, the other with no light where there should be.

Interesting.....so what you're saying is maybe consider just replacing the bulbs with something like silver stars?

I'm using SilverStar Ultras (same set since 2008).
