Default Suzuki SX4 1.9DDiS - Service Information Please

Looking at purchasing a 2009 (09 Plate) Suzuki SX4 which has the 1.9DDiS Engine.

It is the '4grip' version which has 4wd.

The car is currently on 80,000 miles.

2009/09 Suzuki SX4 1.9 DDiS 4GRIP 4x4 DIESEL MPV 5 Dr Metallic Silver S/History! | eBay

What type of engine is this - Cambelt or Timing Chain?
From what I've read online it is a Fiat 1.9 JTD Engine....

Could anyone provide me service schedules? Just so I can work out how often it should be serviced, and other stuff such as water pump, etc

I am traveling to see it on Thursday, so any additional information would be useful on what to look out for!

Many Thanks,

James

Thanks for that Darrell!

So if I have read that table correctly:

Engine Oil & Filter every 9,000 miles or 12 months (whichever is sooner)
Timing Belt at 45,000 miles or 5 years

And just for confirmation that table is for the 1.9DDiS SX4 4Grip?

Just 45,000 miles doesn't seem much in reality!

Looking at the one I'm interested in (linked above), it looks like it should of already been done or it will be seriously overdue!

Many Thanks,

James

I'm glad you asked . I apologise, I posted the schedule from the Grand Vitara 1.9ddis. Now I would have thought they would be same, being the same engine, but no. Here is what the SX RW419D 2006 print workshop manual has to offer. Yes this manual covers the 4wd so should be relevant.
Sorry I just jumped in as soon as I'd seen "1.9ddis".
