Default wind noise

hi there , we test drove two sx4 a few days ago and it really is a nice ride.
my wife was sitting in the back and she said that there were quite some wind noises from the window behind the door or that area. did anybody else notice that?
by the way, we are still not sure which one to take - the sx4 or the nissan versa, which is a very nice and quiet ride too.
thanks
fritz

Did you check to make sure the windows were ALL the way up? I know in my current car (ford zx2) the wind noise increases substantialy if there is even 1mm of travel left. The Nissan doesn't offer AWD. Do you live anywhere that it snows? That is the exact reason why the sx4 will be my next car. CT gets a lot of snow, and I gotta get to work.

thanks for your reply.
i checked the windows, probably the first thing i always do we testing a car.
the sx4 looks better and has a few better features, but the versa drives better. i'm just not sure if this is enough reason to buy a versa. did you ever test a versa?
i wonder when the sx4 sport will be available, because that would be the trim we wanted.
decisions, decisions....
