Default Immobilizer/key recognition

Im swapping a 2.0L 4cyl in for my 1.6 16V in a 1996 Vitara (europe).
Not far along with the project yet, but it looks like its going to be more simple than I expected.
Anyways, I seem to have gotten most things needed with the engine, as I did not remove it myself, but I didnt get the ignition switch, and Im wondering what to do about the key recognition. As the switch is missing, so is the coil antenna for it, is there any way around it? Share your wisdom please.

Best regards from Iceland,
Gisli Sveri

The immobiliser, ECU and switch combination is most important. The coil transducer is not as far as I know encoded at all so a transducer from another GV should work. It should just contain two coils. One is a low frequency transmitter that provides power to the chip in the key, the other is the antenna for the RF communications.

The FSM shows it as having only two wires so the key chip must be powered from the RF loop. There is nothing to suggest that there is anything other than just the coil inside. The diagnostic check is a simple continuity test.
