After a long wait for the clutch fork rod to come from Japan, I installed a new clutch kit, clutch rod and transmission bearing retainer, my son and I repaired the Suzuki. It now runs and drives and I gave it to my son. I told him that if it breaks down again I will not fix it. He agreed.

Good work ! Let's hope it lasts. It seems odd that yours had so many failures with related parts. Maybe the sleeve was the problem all along. Time will tell.
