Someone on another forum suggested using a 2009 Suzuki Swift as a suitable replacement filter. Tried it and worked well. All you need is to cut the clip off the new filter. I used scissors then scarped it smooth with a utility knife.
Getting to the filter was easier than I thought. I did lower the glove compartment and you have to remove one screw but I noticed if you remove the overhead compartment (simply move from left to right) it pops right off and you can access with out lowering the glove box at all.
