will the nose and hood mask on a Suzuki Kizashi cause more harm than good?

It may, depends on how you use it. The best is to use it for trips or occasionally in town. The problem with them is that if you leave it on rain and moisture gets in and makes it change shape. Another problem is that dirt and dust will enter and scratch your paint over time. I have used them and found out the hard way that most horror stories about car bras have some truth to them. One car I had, had very bad chips on the bumper from traveling down I-95 to and from work while construction was going on. I put the bra on to save any further damage and I left it on when I traded it in so it helped in that case.

I have had bad experience with them in the past. I went to clear film last two cars. Front still looks like new (17,500 mi) and you barely notice it (only on the hood if you apply it there).

I scraped the lower bumper that had it on. Looked bad at first, but only damaged the film. Spliced another piece on and back to brand new look.
