Default Kizashi keyfab?

does the key in the keyfab for the Kizashi need to be in the fab for the fab to work? can the key in the fab also be used to unlock the car doors?

That's a fab question.

No, the fob does not need to be in the holder. The car has a sensor to detect the fob in the car, etc. Very nice feature.

Not sure what you mean by the other question - there is an extra physical key hidden in the fob which can be used for the door/engine if necessary. But I have not used it.

Again, test drive the vehicle and these questions will be readily answered.

Actually, now I am seeing your question as whether the extra physical key must be in the fob. I do not believe so.

The phyical key doesn't need to be in the FOB. It's a valet key so you can take it with you and lock the glove compartment and trunk area and still give the valet the electronic key
