Default Lights on with wipers

I was reading in my Kizashi manual that you can program the headlights to automatically come on when the wipers are engaged. Is this something that really needs to be done at the dealership or is there a way the consumer can do it?

Angry Lights and wipers blues

Good luck with getting the programming done! I've had my 2010 SLS in four times for light/wiper programming with no luck. I am going to try a different dealership.

Default

The last time I took mine in and inquired about this procedure, they just gave me two pages on how to program the lights. Didn't notice, but they left out step 3. I have attached the scans of those pages. Might be helpful to someone.

Default It works

I did it last night and all the steps are there. I finally figured out that you start your three second count when engine is done starting. Then since you start out in position 5 the sequence is 4-5-1-5-4-5. I'm gonna take it to my dealer (who couldn't find it and said that it wasn't for my SLS) and see if I can get a free oil change.
