Question Transfer Case Failure?

2011 Kizashi SLS AWD, daughter was diving home from work the other night and turned into our sub, the car lost power and was moving slow, so she pulled over and called me.
Went out and drive it home but it had low power and clunked like the engine was shaking, while under throttle. Did this in Drive and reverse when I tested in driveway. I let it roll backwards in neutral, and the engine clunked again, so thinking it wasn't the transmission as it was still going in D&R. I put it on blocks (noticed oil on txfr case from around pass axle seal) and ran it with front tires off ground, wheels rotated intermittently and then clunked and rotated again. Took it to repair shop, and they looked it over camera in the txfr case (noting visible) and they did the same on the hoist, but now front wheels are locked from rotating.
Has anyone had this issue? Transfer case? or Transmission? Car value not worth replacing tranny.
