Default U-Joint Grease fittings

Changed the oil and did some other minor maintenance the other day, and when I greased my U-joints I noticed there was only grease fittings in 3 of the 5 (or 2 of the 4 or something, I can't remember). Why didn't they put grease fittings on all of them? Or did they... and mine are missing...

The factory U-Joints did not come with grease fittings. The ones you have with fittings, are aftermarket replacements. The factory joints are better than most aftermarket. Trouble is, they're expensive.

Ah wow, didn't know that. Thanks man. Sure wish I had complete records of whats been done to my Samurai before I got it haha. Oh well. Going to just keep changing things out when they break til everything in there is mine.

I was putting in one of the "clicky start fix kits" the other day, and some before me had changed out the terminal on the starter solenoid from plug type to ring type. I find little things like this a lot. It runs great though, other than the cold start issue in the other thread.
