Does anyone have experience with a Samurai transfew case sticking in neutral? It's happened to me twice and both times I have had to find a used transfer case. Is this a common problem? Any "fixes"?

Its only common when you force the shifter into gear. You most likly have a bent shifter fork.

Good luck

mine stuck today, I pulled it apart and believe there is a soft bushing between the gear shifter lower ball and the fork that goes into the t-case. look at petroworks Off-road products. I will be ordering the new gear shifter and the bushing kit. In case I bent my fork. I will try and let you know if it solves the problem.
Dean.
