Default please help me on 1988 suzuki sam. on fuel to carb please

Guys I need help this is my only vehicle. My truck yesterday
just will not get gas to carb. I noticed no gas getting to my Carb so I have replaced the fuel filter no luck. So I replaced the mechanical fuel pump and that didn't work. So I took off fuel line to pump and I noticed no gas coming thru. Guys it was fine day before. So I am stumped I don't have much money left can anyone please tell me what to try next please? I need this truck to get to work. Thank u so much

If you're just going to cut and paste the same question over and over, without doing any troubleshooting, you'll never get to work in your truck.
I gave you some places to start looking for problems.
Its a very simple system. Gas tank, fuel filter, fuel line, fuel pump, carb.
There is no magic internet answer. You'll have to put in a little effort, to figure it out.

I did that buddy, I am not looking for smart remarks man I am trying to be professional as I can. As far as copying and pasting, I did all those things you said already that's why I need EXP. help that wont be such a jerk for a response!

When you changed the fuel pump, did you happen to notice if the pushrod that runs on the cam fell out? Its a pretty small rod and might have dropped out in the midst of your repair.
I'm not trying to be a smart a**. It just seems as if you aren't following through on your troubleshooting. Really, these Suzukis are some of the simplest vehicles ever made. No complicated electronics, simple fuel systems, simple drivetrain, easy to work on.
Keep looking, you'll find the problem.

thanks I haven't even thought of that. I was told to take valve cover off (since I need toi change gasket anyway) to see if the rod was in there or hooked to pump rod, is that correct? Also someone said that either my fuel pump relay was blown or my charchol canister was clogged. Does that make sense to you? Sorry for the questions and thanks!

Its hard to see the fuel pump rod. Its semi hidden in the head casting, back where the cam exits the head for the distributor drive and rides on the cam lobe. Easiest way to check is pull the fuel pump and feel with your finger. Also, if the pump rod is in there, it will try and push the pump off the head, when you loosen the bolts.

Another EXTREMELY unlikely event is a flattened pump lobe on the cam. But lets not go there right now.

There is no relay, with a mechanical pump. Plugged canister will only show up after the fuel cap is tight and the engine has been running awhile. Loosen the cap, and the problem goes away.

I am at work right now so I will check the rod you said. There is no relay? wow thanks! What is that plug in looking item in front of the carb that looks like a relay? Also, last question sir! HA! On that rod that supposed to go against the fuel pump. If it is gone what do I do????? thank you

The stock Hitachi carb is loaded with electrical crap. Fuel enrichment control, high rpm deceleration idle fuel circuit cut off, idle up vacuum controls, etc.. That plug is for some of those systems.

If its gone, post here and I'll get you the part number. Easiest reliable source, is direct from Suzuki. You would be amazed, at how many parts Suzuki still stocks for the little Samurai.

Sun visors, door panels, glove box, ash tray, decals, fuel pumps (cheaper than aftermarket), valve springs, etc. . . . . .

Almost all, well, all the fuel system controls can be eliminated, with an aftermarket carb. Problem is, you can't pass emissions testing, when you change the carb.
With a Weber, or, similar aftermarket carb, these things will run with just power to the distributor and coil, provided you are parked on a hill, to get it push started. As I said before, they're SIMPLE.
