Default Transfer case Change

Hi , I am new to this forum and i really need your help. I have a suzuki samurai 1989 (sj 50) with 31 inch tyres. I had purchased the car and along with it came a new Suzuki Jimny transfer case. The previous owner had told me that the current transfer case has bad bearings and is leaking and so he had purchased a new refurbished transfercase. The car vibrates and makes awfull noises as soon as i put it into 4L . Will the Suzuki Jimny transfer case work on my samurai? Also i noticed that the 4wd plugs (for the Dash) are different. Is the transfer case better than the one i have? Can i make them work with my dash board. I would really appreciate some replies as i will be changing my transfer case this Saturday.

Thanks Matthew

PS will try to post some pics to show you my project and how its coming along Thanks
