Default Metal Side Skirt & Fender Flare Support...

I removed the plastic side skirt and factory fender flares on my 86 Samurai and there is a metal support that held up the plastic side skirt and fender flares. They are welded onto the body; I want them removed. Anyone know how I go about removing them?

They are spot welded on , About 10 mins to remove them with a angle grinder, If you look carefully you can see the spots under the paint on the flat part , purists would say a cutting wheel on your grinder, as long as you hit the right spots they come off.

only took a few hours , most of that was waiting for things too dry
