Default 2010 Jimny question

Hi Folks,

New to Suzuki vehicles. Have had many Jeeps in the past. So now living on a small caribbean island with a 2010 Jimny bone stock atm.

The rear differential has started making some nasty noises and the guys here say that is common. They want $1000 for replacment pot with all the bits ... but im thinking I should look for a spidergear kit and ring/pinon as I want to upgrade anyway the power ratio is all wrong on the steep hills we have... 1st is plenty powerful but so fucking slow and second has not enough power..?

Anyway my main question is this- where can i find parts?

It seems from some fitup guides that the rear axel of this is the same as the Samurai from 1984 all the way through this model.. right? Any help?

Noob in BVI. Brian

I think the diffs are quite different, I would suggest that you ask on bigjimny.com, they are very knowledgeable there.
