Default Weber 32/36 Samurai install

Just put the weber 32 36 carb on my 1988 samurai. Fires idles runs great but when i rev it it has a back fire. Also if i floor it (bunny hop it) its has a second off on throttle response.

PLEASE HELP IF YOU KNOW OF ANYTHING.

Could it be the mechanical fuel pump? Please reply if you have input.

im not sure but i would check and change the timing.also the jets could be set wrong. make sure ur vacumm advance is workin correct too and the plugs too.

I would suspect that the vacuum advance is hooked up to the wrong port and is working backwards, not an uncommon problem with carb conversions.
