Default My sierra makes me wet

ok, here is the problem, when ever i am driving my '85 sierra hard top (a full one not a fiberglass) when it is raining my feet get wet

water is mostly dripping on my right foot (i am in aus so it's a rhd) there is water coming in from somewhere on the outer edges of the dashboard, passengers have mentioned this too but they can move their feet, i cant cause of the throttle

also in something i think is unrelated (yet still on the topic of water) : the back windows and door often have moisture on the inside of them and the carpet is wet...

and my dad told me to avoid soft tops

(and what is this trackback thing under the post window, just out of curiosity??)

thanks all

Lots of times the drain for the cowl vent gets clogged up. The drain for it is those little turn down looking rubbers on the fire wall under the hood. Clean those out and see if that helps any.

Take a hose and blast the weather stripping from outside and see if you are getting any leaks inside. When the weatherstripping gets old you get leaks all over the place.
