Default No electric

'88 Sami. Went for a relatively small dunk (2.5' maybe) over the weekend pulling a buddy out of a river. Now won't crank, no lights, etc. Changed battery as it was getting a little older. Cleaned connections. Still no luck. Can someone help?

There's a fusible link in the positive battery line - check it.

Well - this time around - I'm going to suggest you take it to an auto electrician, it looks like you're in over your head.

You know a fuse is blown because it doesn't conduct electricity, you're going to need some sort of test instrument, either a volt meter or a test light and work your way back from the source - do you have power at the battery end of the cable? do you have power at the other end of the cable? get the idea now?
