Default What do ya'll think about this sammi?

Here's what he says:

Great reliable daily driver. I drive it 60 miles round trip every day. 86k original miles. Engine was rebuilt 25-30K ago along with new clutch, alternator, and starter. Top is due to be replaced. About $150 new. No rust. Clear coat on hood is peeling a bit, but its 26 years old. Kenwood cd player with ipod hook up, cb radio, good spare tire, webber carb. Tires are 70-75% tread. It has been a great little rig and will hate to see it go.
$3250.00 obo

I spoke with him and he's owned it for 8 months. The guy before him did the rebuild but there is no paperwork or receipts. Also 86k original miles, I'd say, is OBVIOUSLY 186k if not 286k because who rebuilds an engine that has 55k miles on it unless there is a problem?

Any advice if I go look at this rig?

Thanks

You must asume then that it hasent had a rebuild. At least where the value is conserned.
Paper work is everything .
$3000 is a fair price for a desent Zuke. I saw the one in question on the "List" last night.
Id probubly try to beat up on him just a bit. Say, $2500 - $2800
I PM d you my phone # Call me if you need advice. I'd be happy to help.....Boxcar...
