Default newbie ? how hard is it to chang fenders?

I just got me an 88. front fenders rotted out pretty bad. how hard is it to change em out? thanks.

They are pretty much unbolt, remove, replace ....but.
Easier to replace the front clip as the bezel holding the plastic grill is usually married to the fenders. The grill has little tabs on the ends ... don't break them...just pull out in the middle of the grill near the Suzuki badge.
A few more bolts undone and you can lift the front clip off by yourself, better with a friend tho.
If you find a friend with a parts rig or a wrecker with a none battered front clip, that is the easiest solution to your dilemma.
If there are little dings in the front corners of the new clip, repair them before you mount the clip. (easier to get at and uses less tools)
If you have any trouble with the phillipshead screws, use the heat wrench on them. (loosens the screw and melts the paint and locktite compound Suzuki uses)
Undo the hood pull at the grill very carefully and take the latch off the hood or place something in the hole or very much grief will happen (don't ask )
It's all good.
