Busted shock mount stud. What replacement shocks should I get?
On a recent trip the right rear shock mount stud busted off. Not sure if due to crapping welding or quality, or if the shock was not the correct size. I don't know the what lift kit was installed. Below are a few picks. From the bottom of the axle to the top of the springs is 6"? Not sure if this is a 4" or 6" spoa lift kit. Don't know where to measure from. The shocks on the rear are Doetsch DT3368.
Debating if I should just buy 1 replacement DT3368 or replace the pair with something else. As usual, keeping costs low with the Sammy is a priority but also want to keep it reliable. The shock was dragging for a while and got bent. Not sure if the bent shaft was from when the mount snapped or if it got caught on something dragging on the ground.
