Default My Suzuki has a leak..

I have a leak right behind the Oil gasket valve cover, it tends to leak behind the oil cap. We replaced the cover once before, tightened it (not too much) and it still leaks onto the transmission. Any similar problems that have quick solutions, let me know. And the oil leak before was really bad, as the one now is not so noticeable, but as soon as one takes the hood off, you cant even see the transmission because it is covered in oil. Thanks

Most likely not your valve cover. Replace the the "o" ring around the distributor housing.

at the rear of the head is a gear mounting for the distributer. it is sealed by a large o-ring which get hard and leaks oil. replace o-ring-- a cheap and easy fix.
