Default help I have a misfire

Can someone help, I have a w reg jimny 1.3 petrol manual and whilst under laod when driving the check engine light on the dashboard keeps coming on and it seems to be holding back on the power like a misfire. Someone has looked at this for me and it said code 31 which is the map sensor, I have changed the map sensor and its still doing it, any thoughts please help!!!

You should check the wiring to the MAP sensor. Where abouts are you? anywhere near Wiltshire?

If you have a missfire can only mean two things ignition missfire which will be spark plug leads or disrubutor
or fuel then check the injectors

Could a problem with spark plug leads, distributor or injectors and subsequent misfire cause the fault code 31 to come up?
