Default New Toy and New to forum!!! PICS TOO

Hey all very excited to be a part of the zuki family!! I just picked up a 88 samurai last week. Its sitting in the shop right now about to drop a semi new engine in it do you guys think I could put it in myself? I am no mechanic, but pretty good with my hands. It would sure save me some money for my cage.

has 1982 toyota SR5 rear axles 4:10 ratio leafs front back

Thanks all for checking the new toy out and any advice on mods to come!

Thanks zook. Yea its at my friends mechanics shop. If he will put it in for under 350 ill do it. It does need belts oil and engine mount. Also radiator looks beat. Anyone have any suggestions for an aftermarket off road oriented one. I also need a battery thinking of going with a optima red top.

Wow looks like a monster - awesome looking project. I like your "can do" attitude and by all means do it yourself. You will save $$$ and gain experience. These things are pretty simple - you will be fine. Congrats, Tom
