Default 1994 Samurai runs ruff

Hi, I have a 1994 Samurai, all stock, It was running fine, then quit while going down the road. Checked fuel at the TB and none, replaced the fuel pump and filter. Also replaced blown fuse for the injection system. It starts up but I have to play with the throttle to keep it running. Exhaust smells funny too, not like a head leak or antifreeze. I need this running asap for an important visitor coming from Europe. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Check out this link since the TBI Samurais are almost the same as the Tracker/sidekick 1.6L 8v.

The KickFix Repair Pages, for Sidekicks and Trackers

Sounds like you ECM might be in limp home mode. Do you know why the fuse blew? Any way the link has a bunch of trouble-shooting info on how to check the sensors and the ECU.
