Default Tool To Undo Front Wheel Bearing Nut

I intend making my own tool to undo the front wheel bearing nut.

Measuring off the screen from a drawing of the front axle in the workshop manual I estimate that the tool (for 4WD versions) needs to be approx 54mm o/d x 40mm i/d using steel. This tube to have 4 steel pins of approx 6.5mm diameter equal spaced on a 47mm PCD on its end to engage with the holes in the wheel bearing retaining nut.

Could anyone confirm or correct these dimensions please?

thanks overthetop

Default

for my '88 Samurai I have a 2inch (very close to 50mm) socket that works very well for the front bearing nuts.

I don't know if this will help as you did not list model or year

Default Tool for Jimny's Wheel Bearing Nut

The Jimny's wheel bearing nut is not a hexagon but is round with 4 holes in it.
The tool is tubular with 4 pins sticking out of it to engage the holes in the nut.
