Default oil leak out of PCV and oil cap

just wondering why the hell my sierra is pushing oil out of the oil cap and PCV? it will do it for a while then stop for 50-100km?

You need a new PCV valve. That one is intermittantly closing off.....or the PCV hose is clogged.

X2 -- Agreed!.
As a temporary expedient, you might try soaking the PCV valve in carb cleaner overnight, sealed in a small plastic baggie or container. Re-install in the AM and see if the problem comes back. A new PCV valve is pretty cheap.

I've soaked it over night and it seems to to have stopped, but getting a new one today to fix it once and for all.
