Default How do you remove the rear seats in a Samurai?

Hi, need to temporarily remove the rear (split) seats in my 1994 sammy, anyone know? I cant see anything obvious, to me it looks like they are welded. Thanks

I don't have a split seat in my rig, just a fold and tumble forward. Most any seat that I've ever seen bolts in. If someone has welded a seat in the back of your samurai that isn't a stock seat then you may have a problem.

In the states the '94 never came with a rear seat. It sounds like someone added it. My '94 even had a sticker on the rear fender well stating not to add a rear seat.

I had another good look and yes someone has welded some in, which doesnt look brilliant, but its covered in the same colour paint. Rather annoying/strange. Thanks anyway
