Get a new sealed beam and phillips screwdriver.
Take the plastic grill out.
Save the screws in a can.
Take the 3 little screws off the facia on dead beam.
Save the screws in a can.
Gently...VERY gently remove the 3 pronged plug from back of dead beam.
DO NOT TWIST !!!
Gently replace that plug in new beam.
Use anti seize compound on 3 little facia screws.
Do not overtighten !
Check to see beam lights in Hi and Lo setting.
Replace Plastic grill work.
Clean hands.
Laugh cuz it's all done!!

Wink

If you want a little better beam and/or you want hid lights get an aftermarket lense that uses h4 bulbs. they dont cost much more than bulbs and give you more options- same procedure except the bulb needs installed into the lense/lamp.

Old Samurai wiring can cause the voltage at the bulb terminals to be low, and you'll not get the brightest light you can. Search around for Samurai headlight rewiring, here and elsewhere, and you'll find plenty of discussion and how-to, mostly involving a direct-to-battery connection and using relays right at the headlight. The headlight ground connection goes all the way back to the headlight switch, so there's that much more wire and voltage (& brightness) loss.
