What car do you have? Have a read here https://www.suzuki-forums.com/suzuki-...lp-needed.html

By the way, anyone know what the ideal choke rpm is ? Iv thought about adjusting mine as its at 2.5-3k rpm.

Ive seen that one. I have it saved. I thought i saved the one I'm talking about but guess not. The one I'm talking about is the same as the instruction that
suzukijohn has on his site after the one about the vent tube insall. but it has pics of the carb. (like the post your talking about) on each step.

thats not a hitachi carb on the link to the israli post.

the other links that show idle adjuster screws are not for choke or cold idle adjustment. Those are for warm idle adjustment and will increase or decrease the standing idle.

The choke adjustment was what I was looking for as well, but I can't find the diagrams for that. Involves lining up the hole on the fast idle cam and the retainer bracket on the rear of the carb and puting a retaining pin in them and then bending the flange that contacts the thermal plunger with a set of pliers to allign the markings on the fast idle cam with the cam follower. I can't find the pics for it on this site either ... the pics on another forum I found it on are no longer active links... I did however find a diagram for it on the autozone website.

those two holes you see are the indexing holes that you line up so you can bend the flange that the thermal plunger contacts. To see if you bent it far enough you pull the indexing pin (drill bit, nail, small screwdriver) and see if your cam follower lines up with the mark. If it doesn't you just put a little bit more bend in the flange. Make very small adjustments at a time.

if you want to adjust the choke valve clearance to the bore then you do that by bending a different flange on the folowers spring hub while the folower is lined up with the fast idle cam marking. In this next diagram you can see the flange being bent by a pair of pliers.

I don't know, I looked all over the internet for the pics but I just couldn't find them. Those diagrams I have from the autozone site are the best I could do.

there's a direct link to the .zip file that contains the article. It's the archived document from zuwhari (the site with the broken picture links) but the archived file includes the pictures that zuwhari no longer has.
