Default Bad starter? (with video)

Seems to me I have a dying starter. Occasionally I get this problem (in the video) where it it will crank very weakly and then after waiting around about 10 minutes I can get it to turn over. A related problem may be that when I stall it, it will do this too. Could it be heat getting to the starter motor exacerbating the problem?

That loud noise at the very beginning is my clutch spring; any remedies to quiet that down? Seems like grease wouldn't cut it.

ow old is the battery? Seems it may have a dead cell.. Battery is cheaper and easier to change then the starter too

it sounds more like your clutch cable than the clutch spring. How old is the cable?
