Default I fought the mud and the mud won...

Happy New Year everyone!

Amazing sticky dry lake mud. I think the little Samurai needed about an extra 75 hp to get through it. We also had our Honda Pilot with us which pulled the Samurai out. Then the Pilot got stuck and the Sammie winched out the Pilot. I was driving the Pilot when it bogged down so much that I think the tires stopped turning. My son was driving the Sammie and he said he ran out of power too. I didn't think it was possible for mud to stop the tires from turning! Here are some photos. Guns, mud and 4x4s so it was a good time! (Out near Cuddeback Lake which is about 35 miles from Edwards AFB.) The next day it took hours to get the mud off the vehicles despite using my high pressure washer. That stuff was stuck on like nothing I've seen before.
