Default Hard start in Florida Cold

I have an 86 Samurai that is extremely hard starting in cold weather. It starts in warm to hot, no problem, when it gets cold, 20 min to 1/2 hour jump starts to finally start. Spark seems weak but present, flooding on occasion, starting fluid has no effect, has always started if I continue to jump start. What "cold weather " item is causing the problem? I have a weber carb, new coil, cap and rotor, ignitor and generator test to proper output per suzuki manual. Ground issue? expansion/contraction on a contact point? I'm baffled? Seems to have been a gradually growing problem, but we don't get this #$%%# cold weather that much.

Default New Distributor

Have now replaced the distributor and battery, will start sooner but something is making it difficult to start. Possible that the fuel injection controller is causing the problem??? Expansion and contraction of contact points or connections in or on the circuit board? Anybody have this problem before I tear into it?
