1986-1995 suzuki samurai will all be the same, with exception of minor changes, which could all be interchanged over the different years, ask me how I know
Thats whats cool about the samurai you don't have to steer clear of any years. What ever is available to you will have to work.
Samurai is pretty simple rig, there isnt much to say, the sheet metal is thin like a beer can, so they rust out, and dent rather easily. Consequently, it weights in at 2000lbs. So you pretty much float over sand, and mud with good wide tires, and rear locking diff.
I'm warning you now, the stock injection will give you problems no matter what year it is, but the easy fix is install a side draft carb, there are many kits for the samurai for only a few hundred bux. The side draft runs awesome, so its def a worthy purchase, and they say it adds a lil hp on the top end. I belive it.
