Default Footwells full of water

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me out?

After relatively heavy rain showers the front footwells (driver and passenger) have approx an inch of water sitting in them. I've checked the soft top and there are no tears or holes.
Are there any well known leak points on the SJ's, or is this something that I just should be prepared for and go and mop up after a rain fall?

Your help is much appreciated!

cheers

Geoff

Clogged drains from the air vent in front of the windshield.
Here is a link to a thread we just had about this one.

also, pull your floor drain plugs so that water doesn't stand in the pan. Good way to rust out your floor and rot your carpet. You can put them back in if you plan on running through puddles and doing water crossings, but untill you get your leak fixed you should uncork it.
