Default Newbie with Jimny Convertible question

Hello all,

I'm going to buy a Suzuki Jimny within the next few weeks. The area I live in is prone to vandalism so I was wondering if you can buy a hard top for the Jimny convertible? The obvious thing would be to buy and estate rather than a convertible but convertibles seem to be a little cheaper to buy on the second hand market.

thanks in advance.

here in the states a convertible hard top runs about $1000 U.S. You can find them used for a lot less, but shipping something that size is rediculously expensive so unless it's local for picking up in person, you may want to just buy a new one.

What year is the jimny and where are you located at in the world?

Hi there,

Thanks for the reply.

I'm looking at a 2003 and a 2004 model and I'm based in the UK.

regards
Bretta

You can get them but they are not very common and are expensive. Try the specialist breakers like dacar suzuki and also ebay.
