Default Starting the build?

Hi everyone, recently I have been looking around for a project and I am wanting to build a samurai into a trail/offroad vehicle.

What I want to know basically is, is it difficult to find parts for these cars? I haven't really been able to find what models were made 4x4(this is important lol)...were they all made 4x4?

Besides the want for trail rig, I grew up in one of these so the nostalgia would be great haha.

Any info for this new guy is much appreciated!!

apparently there were a handfull made that weren't 4x4, but for the most part they are 4x4s. The 2wd models can be easily converted to 4wd. Parts are very readily available from scrapped donor vehicles or new aftermarket parts are available from several off road shops like Trail Tough, Petroworks, Sky Manufacturing, Low Range Offroad, Breeze Industries. I would avoid Rockyroad outfitters. Their prices are good but you pay for it x2 in the long run.
