Question sammi chugging

I have a 93 samurai it has a stock 1.3 motor efi it starts up good it idles good and it runs down the road good for about 5 miles then it starts to chug and jerk like its running out of gas but if I turn the key off and back on it clears up but not for very long then it does it again, it almost seems like something elec. or in the vac. system ? any thoughts ?

sounds like somethings blocking your fuel lines or your tank vent. Check your filters to see if they're full of crud, and check your gas cap to make sure it's letting air in to relieve the vacuum as you consume the fuel in your tank.

Could possibly be debris in the gas tank. Debris is lying on tank floor so when you start, it works fine but with aggitation bits collect on the pickup and engine stalls, debris falls of pickup, once you start again same debris gets sucked into pickup. And round and round it goes.

Sounds like a clogged fuel filter.
