Default thanks

Thanks Bill, I appreciate it. I'll do a search on Atmospheric Pressure Sensor Circuit now.

I did a little searching and from what I read it may be indicative of a problem with your MAP sensor. Someone here will tell you a better and more definitive answer.

Code 31 is Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (MAP sensor). The MAP sensor is usually mounted on the bulkhead and has a pipe going to the inlet manifold. Check that the pipe is in good condition and that the inline filter is clean, then check that you have 5V and ground on two of the terminals, the voltage on the other terminal should vary with load.

Like Rhinoman posted, check all the hoses and connectors going to the MAP sensor. The sensor itself rarely goes out. When they do they are one of the more expensive pieces of plastic under the hood. Costs almost as much for a rebuilt throttle body.
