Default Metal coolant pipe

Okay...the metal coolant pipe that has a bend in it, that is attached to the lower radiator hose is starting to look a little weak on my samurai. I have looked for a new one but can't find one...what are others using for those or where can I find a new one? Thanks.

what do you mean by looking weak? I've still got my stock pipe.

You could have a piece of small exaust pipe of the same size bent and cut to fit.

It looks like it has seen better days..so i would rather change it so someday I"m not sitting on the side of the road wishing I had. I guess that I could have one made...I thought that I had seen one at one of the sammy vendors sites but can't remember which one. Thanks

Mine was all rusty and junky looking but when I replaced the water pump, I took that pipe and cleaned it up really well with a wire brush on a drill. Then I primed and painted it. Looks fine now, but even before I did it didn't look like the rust was even close to going all the way through the metal. It's a pretty thick and sturdy pipe.

Try Trail Tough for a replacement.

The metal pipe should last a life time, what you need to replace
are the rubber hoses.
