Default Mechanical fuel pump question??

I am standing on the passenger side of my 89 samurai>

Check me if i am correct

I have my fuel line from tank( with the fuel filter) hooked up to the top left nipple>

I have my fuel tank return line hooked up to the top right nipple

Now the one on the bottom of mechanical fuel pump is now where to be found.
Can you tell me where it goes> I believe to the carb somewhere. do you know or if you have any pics that would be great

Thanks,
Colton Carden

Use the search button and you will find pics showing exactly what you are asking about. But to make a long story short - the lowest one is a relief tube. When the fuel pump dies, that one will blow oil. If you see anything coming out, you need to replace the pump fast!

It goes no where. If it's what I'm thinking your looking at it's just an oil bleed off incase the pump diaphram fails. Looks like a hose fitting but not.
