Default 86 Samurai prospect owner here!

Man am I going to have a lot of questions for everyone!

When did the Samurai get fuel injection? I am looking @ an 86 with: Some Performance MODS,Spring Over Lift ,31" Tires, Recent Exhaust, Recent Paint, Nerf Bars,Tube Bumpers,? I know it's a short discription but it's all I have on it right now!

What does everyone think something like this should go for?

the North american samurai got a throttle body fuel injector in '90, or '91... i'm sure someone else can step in and say for sure... don't have the time to look it up right now. It's basically a computer controled carburettor instead of a vacuum controled one. It never had multi point fuel injection. The sidekick/tracker came out with a 16 valve 1.6 liter MPFI a few years later. It's a popular engine swap for more power, but a lot of people avoid the MPFI and do the 8Valve 1.6 liter swap with an aftermarket carb. The wiring harness and ECU are a huge headache to deal with and for a lot of people they would rather keep it simple... which is why they have a Samurai to begin with. What kind of miles are on the rig you want to buy?

welcome to the forums~!
