Default water choke conversion to electronic

Hello all, I am new to the forum, what a great place for information, however doing a few searches I could not find the answer to my question: which is..

I just bought a weber carb conversion for my 1988 Samurai and the weber is an electronic choke, but after I ordered, I noticed the stock carb is a water choke. How do I convert my system over to the electronic choke, I am guessing I can just loop the water hose's so that they just circulate back into the system. but do I just hook up the electronic choke to a hot lead that is hot when the key is on? I thank you all in advance for your help.

yeah that's pretty much it. Good wire to use for the 12V ignition switch is the wire that went to the solenoid on your stock carb. It's 12V+ when the ignition is on.
