Default Sidekick wheels fit 1988 Samurai ? Tracker !

I bought my second Samurai, a 1988 in good condition.
The problem is the crazy lift on it and the 10" wide wheels
with big steamroller tires. It rides like the kitchen table and
can barely get out of it's own way. My previous Samurai did fine with
tires about one size larger than stock. So, I go looking for wheels.
The local boneyard had a nice set of Sidekick steel wheels.
So. I bought them and get home and the receipt says Tracker wheels
from a 1996 model. They are 5 on 5.5 but will they fit ?
Appears to be about 4" backspace.
I have 48 hours to return them and don't have tires on them yet.
Thought I should find out before I get in too deep.

Thanks in advance.
Cold and wet in southern Ohio.
Tom

Just as another option, aftermarket Ford 1/2 ton rims fit as well but check the center hole for the larger diameter required with a Samurai. I swap tires and rims back and forth from my F-150 to my 'zuki all the time.

The Track/Kick wheels fit but as you already noticed they have more backspacing. You may need spacers to get clearance on the front springs.
