Question Jimny Auto Won't Change Up When Cold

Hi

I have a 1999 JLX Auto Jimny its only done 16,000mls and when it's cold it wont change up the gears just hangs in 1st.

Any ideas please?

First off, give it a change of automatic transmission fluid (the easiest way is to remove the hoses from the the oil cooler and let it pump out while idling in park - refer www.jimny.se - a site made for Suzuki Jimny and it's owners only)

Secondly, let it warm up a little longer.

I find mine is a little temperamental when cold and will sometimes change up early.
