Hey guys,
I recently posted about what size tires I could fit on my 95 Jimny Sierra. I think I'm gonna go with 215 75 15's. ALso I will probably put some 3" (longer than stock) shackels on it eventually. This will net me 1.5" of lift... right? Here in okinawa we have a pretty thorough inspection every two years, so i need to do things that i can easily reverse for the inspection. I figured the shackels would be the way to go, they should be easy enough to swap out when inspection time comes. I think the tires will still fit o.k. without the shackles, what do you guys think? Lastely, if I put the shackles on it, will I need to do anything else, like shocks, or anything for the driveline? I use this rig as a daily driver and NEVER go faster than 60kph(approx 38mph). As for off-road, I am usually in dry/wet sand, coral and your standard mild to moderate trails. Nothing extreme. Thanks-dave
