Default Manuals

Hey gang, I have an ‘84 SJ410 and am wanting to do a lot of work to it. Currently it is running with fuel in carb and I would like to do a decent resto on her. I am searching for a manual or info on engine and rest of vehicle. I’ve seen the Haynes but it has the Sidekick and Vitara on the cover. Not sure if this would work for the 1.0L. Any thoughts on how to proceed would be great. I’ve done restorations before but I like to have proper service, manuals on hand prior to doing so. Thanks fellas!

To the best of my knowledge the is no sj410 manual on pdf to be found, however you can find one for the sj413 which covers many things but obviously not the engine. Forget the Haynes, there pretty useless on these.
I seem to remember another manual that has the same engine, think it may have been the late LJ's.

I do have the paperback genuine workshop manual that was available in the UK that I can photo the odd bits when you get stuck. I seem to remember doing this before, I'll go see what I can find in my archive...........

Sweet Darrell! I don’t want to trouble you but if you’re willing that would be awesome. My SJ had a snow plow on it so the only things I would like to look at in paper form would be suspension and engine. I will need new springs and such. I may pick your brain as things start to roll on here with the SJ. Thanks again Darrell and no rush on your end by no means.

The site I use to send people too for the SJ413 manual no longer seems to work, I'll have to see what else I can find. I have the engine section from the SJ410 as photo's only, I'm uploading right now.

Well that didn't work too well....

I tried uploading the file but it appears to have done each photo separately.

I have loads of info I've posted up but scroll down until you find IMG_6757 through to IMG_6814
Any problems and I'll see if I can convert them to a PDF file online.

Sorry Darrell, I can’t get them. Is there a way to send via email? Not sure if I should put my email on here or not and don’t know how to personal message ya?

She worked! That is perfect. Thanks a bunch. Now I feel more comfortable moving forward with this. I collect and restore old John Deere garden tractors and have all the manuals to help guide through. Just a piece of mind for when I do things. This is great Darrell and much appreciated!

Download the PDF file from here https://archive.org/details/1986-198...yServiceManual
It's not correct for yours but should still contain lots of useful info.
